This colloquium seeks to bring together researchers of various digital and data studies across the globe to assess the current state of our research fields and possibly set forth directions for the future of digital humanities and data science. As the time changes, the research strategies, processes, and techniques have been modified and updated, and first and foremost, the quality of research depends on the data quality. Not only in data science but also in other studies such as humanities and social sciences, research methodologies based on digital data have become so significant that it is necessary to explore intersections or points of interaction between data science and digital humanities.
